Es crucial que el país identifique las estrategias que le permitan la eliminación de barreras para la competencia y el crecimiento de la economía. De acuerdo con el Consejo Nacional de Competitividad, la Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación representa uno de los cuellos de botella que debe asumir la nación, si se propone lograr indicadores de inversión, productividad y generación de empleo. Y en este contexto, la investigación y la innovación, son aliadas inseparables que se propende por su desarrollo al interior de los centros de educación superior para ser la base de la construcción del conocimiento que demanda el país. Constituye una obligación y deber que nos integra a todos los que pertenecemos al sector educativo de la nación y por supuesto desde nuestra Institución, hace parte de los lineamientos estratégicos y metas propuestas.

Implementation of RFID technology to improve inventory processes and product registration retails for Colombia

We present the results of a feasibility study on the implementation of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to improve registration processes and inventory management products on the shelves of stores retail chains (supermarkets) in Bogotá, Colombia. In this regard, we review the characteristics of RFID technology, its benefits and applications, and SWOT analysis to implementation. The main result of the fieldwork was to identify the average time it takes a customer the payment experience of the products purchased in a retail.

Adaptation of six sigma methodology as environmental management strategy for sustainable development

A lean enterprise is the one that achieves continuous improvements in all processes, both administrative and manufacturing. These improvements are achieved by incorporating the philosophies that allow corporate culture to implement projects that respond to environmental situations that may affect the processes, products, environment, business and in general all around them. The important thing about improvement projects is that they generate sustainable competitive advantages. This article focuses on the adaptation of DMAIC Six Sigma as a strategy for environmental management, seeking to reduce the associated cost and the cycle of continuous improvement applied to achieve sustainable development in the production-minimization of environmental impact. Thus, the companies become co-responsible entities of the environment and driving forces of the models of management and sustainable development. This is evidenced in the article by a case study of the proposed model which steps are raised and at the end, its results.

Being teachers in pluralistic educational contexts

The article describes the proposal "Inclusive education for initial teacher training" developed within the Fundación Universitaria Panamericana under the agreement between Unipanamericana, Fundación Saldarriaga Concha and the Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos (OEI), held in 2011. During this period the Faculty of Education formulated and developed a proposal from an initial exploration of teachers' assessments, the analysis of the curricula of the degree courses, the experience of the impartation of an elective subject in Inclusive Formation and the observation of the teaching practice in order to develop the project in pluralistic education through an open, dialogical and reflective teaching method, in which is strengthened in the teacher ability to read educational settings in a special way, understanding the diversity inherent in these, and identifying conditions of learning in the groups in which he would teach.

Approaches to the issue of social inclusion in the context of two research on beliefs about play in teaching faculty at two children centers from the Secretaria Distrital de Integración Social (SDIS)

Working in inclusion processes is one of the challenges contemporary teachers face. But, do they really have an idea of what does it mean to talk about inclusion? ¿From which theoretical references they articulate their speech? How the teacher assumes the difference, recognizing his self asdifferent? Do they know what is the otherness and can he recognize his self in front of it? These are some of the questions from which this paper is developed. The approaches to the topic are framed in two research projects carried out since 2008 in the PhD department of the Universidad de Granada, in Spain, and the Research Center of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, in Colombia. The projects were developed with two kindergarten teachers from the Secretaría Distrital de Integración Social, whose pedagogical work deal with social inclusion. In this context the investigative achieves are presented.

Case studies and their impact on the development of critical thinking

This innovation and application project consisted in evaluating the feasibility that has the case study as a teaching method, in the development of reflexive and critical thinking in university students. The study was applied in three different contexts: undergraduate students in preschool education in Aguascalientes City, México; undergraduate students in infant pedagogy in Bogotá, Colombia; and undergraduate psychology students in Córdoba, Argentina. The survey carried out in students and teachers made it possible to value the importance of the use of the case methodology, not only to enable the analysis and reflection as abilities that determine the university formation, but also in view of the positive results of approaching students to realities that allow them to project the exercise of their future profession.

A new perspective on responsability of university teachers

The goal of this work is to make an analysis of the responsibility the university teacher has from an ethical perspective, which involves the desire of the teacher. The public university as an institution established by the State is the area par excellence in which there is the symbolic capital necessary to transmit the social values of the hegemonic culture. The historical moment in which a certain socialpolitical framework is developed promotes the emergence of different theories which have been the basis that gave support to the emergence of the different teaching models. The approach to the responsibility of the teacher from an ethical perspective includes the dimension of a creative act. The teacher in the very act of transmitting the knowledge will be able to create his own style allowing him to go beyond the predetermined teaching models.

The marxist political conception as an evidence of the unfalsifiable character of the marxist theory of the history

The historical diatribe Marx/Bakunin has a theoretical background. On this background emerges the evidence of the failure of marxist ideas to explain the socio-historical dynamics. Normally, this diatribe has been studied in the context of the beginning of the socialism and only from the historical point of view. This article shows that the marxist conception of the state evidences the unfalsifiable character of the marxist theory of social change in the historical dynamics. The hypothesis is that, if Marx was unable to respond rightly to the criticism of Bakunin about the marxist concept of the State, was because the marxist theory of the history is unfalsifiable. To obtain the data necessary to test the hypothesis a methodological strategy of documentary research, qualitative analysis of content and analysis of qualitative data were used. The data to prove materially the hypothesis were a priori. The inference that proved formally the hypothesis was the logic rule Introduction of the Conditional.

Conceptual models towards the reflection on the organizational effectiveness

Organizational Effectiveness has been at the core of organization and management research for over fifty years. This paper defines the methodologies to be followed in order to evaluate the coordination processes in organizational effectiveness so as companies are in the conditions to face the environment requirements and guarantee it surviving in it. This comparative analysis allows to adjust the disciplinary limits that facilitate overcome the barriers of the organizational inefficacy that constrains the formation of more competitive enterprises.

Current trends of the concept of solidarity

By listening to students and teachers speak of solidarity in modern times, it is observed that there is a lot of ambiguity, vagueness about it sometimes because the meanings refer interchangeably to cooperation, generosity, help, brotherhood, unity, support, identify with the need for another, among other uses which have led to a general use of the term mechanical and simplistic. Although staging the connotation of the concept seems alien to the interests of contemporary society, it is important to investigate one of the values to practice squad, which most often is manipulated or debased by the media. To this end, we develop a research on the concept of solidarity through the development of a state of the art, as a form of appropriation of knowledge, which aims to provide a different look to the subject matter, given that in recent years, this concept has been treated almost exclusively by the solidarity economy, so do it is chosen from an interdisciplinary perspective between ethics, sociology and legal sciences. As a result of research presents the current trends of the concept, aimed at understanding the use and meaning of work in today's society.

Un cúmulo de historias que se entretejen y destejen en torno a un personaje anodino y dan forma a 35 muertos, la tercera novela de Sergio Álvarez. Plagados de sexo, violencia, drogas y música popular, los argumentos no tienen nada de extraordinario para el colombiano común: se repiten día tras día en periódicos y noticieros, en series de televisión, en la narrativa contemporánea y en reportajes periodísticos; sórdidos argumentos de los que se ocupa la academia y la prensa del corazón, que atañen al ciudadano de a pie, al senador, al campesino o al sesudo intelectual. El pasado 27 y 28 de agosto el Programa de Administración de Empresas de la Facultad de Ciencias Empresariales de la Unipanamericana, asistió a el Encuentro nacional de facultades de Administración de Empresas, organizado por Ascolfa y orientado a compartir experiencias sobre la formación y evaluación de competencias, donde el objetivo era dar parámetros en la formación de los futuros dirigentes y emprendedores de Colombia, invitando a hacer una constante revisión sobre cómo se está contribuyendo al crecimiento profesional y personal del administrador, el cual se debe ver reflejado en su ejercicio y su desempeño, para que vaya acorde
